This almost sounded like a cracked cornea plus floaters.

Next time someone asks what they're like, I'm just going to tell them to read your story -- best way I've ever seenit described. Yuck!

Great story, though. :)Chuck Allenhttp://www.chuckallen.usnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5179795275664264195.post-30436595563767204362013-04-06T01:17:42.891+01:002013-04-06T01:17:42.891+01:00I shouldn't be laughing, but I am! Mine first appeared a few months ago, and I was convinced that I was going blind or had a detached retina (which happened to my dad after a violent sneeze). The doctor soothed me by telling me that it was nothing serious, then followed it up with a description of a surgical procedure (for really bad cases) where they suck out the vitreous and replace it with saline. Something like that. Didn't catch the full explanation because I felt rather faint.Lihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08831231531918915804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5179795275664264195.post-55179001607134092322013-04-05T21:26:28.892+01:002013-04-05T21:26:28.892+01:00Oh, I get floaters in my eyes and they can be very...Oh, I get floaters in my eyes and they can be very distracting so I totally sympathise with both you and your narrator. I like the idea of being inhabited by some reptile though, shame the reality is slightly more mundane.

And I'm now going to give my glasses the soak in warm water and clean they've been crying out for. I was grossed out by your description of the nose pads until I checked my own!! They can be irritating and annoying and distracting - once I become aware of them they are all I can see... As for the grey hair - mine has been going grey since my late teens ;-) Thank the lord for colour in a bottle... Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07552177172693992369noreply@blogger.com
